I was excited to collect 20 bird box kits made by the Men's Shed this week to be delivered to Marchwood Junior School for construction and painting.
My daughter checked out the quality of my instructions by building a test one!
Some of the finished bird boxes will be installed around the school grounds with the rest around our village open spaces by Marchwood Parish Council (along with the ones delivered to Marchwood C of E Infant School). It's great to be able to bring different groups and organisations together for these kind of community projects. We have lots more lined up for the future.
